Competition: Paperboard Packaging Competition
Organization: Paperboard Packaging Alliance
Description: Design a functional and creative package for a quick-serve chain kids’ meal, and address how the plans could be altered to serve an additional purpose.

Competition: AICC 2012 - Student Corrugated Packaging Design Competition 
Organization: AICC
Description: Create a Retail Ready Package (RRP) for the 6 oz snack product that does not require a master shipper.(see product at left and specs in brochure)

Competition: PAC Leadership Award
Organization: Packaging Association (PAC)
Description: The top award is the PAC Leader Among Leaders Award which acknowledges the entry that best combines the merits of technical packaging design and sustainability.

Competition: Annual AICC Student Corrugated Packaging Design Competition

AICC
Description: THE AICC Student Corrugated Packaging Design Competition was developed in the early 90's to provide packaging students with the opportunity to have their corrugated packaging design work reviewed and admired by leaders in the independent sector of the corrugated packaging industry. The goal to provide students with the opportunities to meet and network with the members of our industry as well as have their corrugated packaging designs seen remains strong.

Competition: Student Research Paper Competition

Paperboard Packaging Association
Description: A fictitious company is preparing to unveil a limited run of a new PDA/smart phone intended to attract a fashionable and tech-savvy consumer.  The new product will feature the latest technology, allowing for easy access to phone, texting, internet surfing, and a variety of interactive apps, and will be marketed exclusively to those with a high disposable income.   The product’s packaging needs to reflect the same level of perceived value of the $300 phone that it protects, and provide for high visual impact for the product. Company executives have chosen paperboard packaging for the product not only for its billboard qualities, but also to comply with the retailers’ desire for sustainability merits and to appeal to consumers’ increasing desire to buy ‘green’.

Competition: PAC Sustainable Packaging Design Competition

Description: PAC, Walmart Canada and Unilever are challenging students to create a sustainable package design for a 133 g container of Knorr Sidekicks and its retail-ready package to contain 12 x 133 g containers.

Competition: Packaging Design Competition

Description:
Modular Robotics is getting ready to launch the first Cubelets kits, and the product deserves a brilliant, sustainable, and thoughtful packaging design.  We've only been out of school for a couple of years and we know that the best work comes from hungry, motivated designers who aren't stuck in a corporate rut.  So, a competition.  Design the packaging for our Cubelets Standard Kit, and enter your design to win prize money and recognition.
